Norwegian Forest Cat

The Norwegian forest cat is a breed of medium or large size. Body elongated and strong, the backbone of massive.


Limbs too long, muscular and the hind legs are slightly longer than the front. Feet: round, broad, with tufts of hair between fingers. The tail at least the same length as the body, uniformly downward, with luxuriant hair. The head has the shape of an equilateral triangle.

The ears are large, set high, wide at the base, decorated with tufts of wool, like a lynx.

The eyes are large, oval, widely open. Eye color should harmonize with coat color. The coat is of medium length with a dense soft undercoat.
